As Grorich was founded in 1983 as a trading company in Sabah, we then traded with a single range of product i.e., Castrol Lubricants with a work force of 12 employees. |
Over the years, our trading business continued to grow at a rapid pace. In order to cope with the increasing business volumes, we decided to expand our storage capacity by setting up warehouses in all major cities in Sabah. Today, we have a combined warehouse space of 500,000 SQFT handling an inventory of over 20,000 variety of building materials.
Our property business began with a contract of RM45.5 million project to reclaim a 40 acre sea front and constructed 558 units of residences. In 2002, we acquired our first land bank with the purchase of a 100 acre sea front land in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. We plan to develop the land into a high class resort and residential area.
With a solid backing from our trading operation, we have soon become an emerging property developer involved in every facet of the property business covering property development, construction, investment and management.
Since our inception, we have grown from strength to strength, establishing ourselves as one of the most progressive companies in Sabah, Malaysia. Today, we are well prepared to face the challenges of the increasingly competitive business environment both at home and abroad.
